Being a Christian is not about religion, rules or empty rituals. It's about having a growing, personal relationship with God (through Christ) that changes the way we live our lives.

Living this kind of Christian life is easier and better when done in the context of community.  What does that mean?  Simply that we do a better job of living the life God wants for us when we do it with the support and encouragement of other Christians.  This is called “fellowship,” and it’s a key ingredient to our success in following God.

It’s better to have a friend than go it alone. If one falls down, the other helps…  By yourself you’re unprotected.  With a friend you can face the worst.  A three-stranded rope isn’t easily broken. (Ecclesiastes 4)
